A self-taught designer with Caribbean roots, Lionel Nichols blends luxury, heritage, and multi-functionality using cut-and-sew techniques and hand-sourced fabrics to create garments that are bold fashion statements and catalysts for change. Lionel’s work is worn by influential figures including Diana Ross, Parris Goebel, and Jussie Smollett, and he played a key role in crafting three of fashion’s most talked-about looks from last year’s Met Gala.

Beyond fashion, Lionel is dedicated to sustainability and giving back, sponsoring students in New York City and St. Vincent.
